Mom's Break offers several free printable diplomas and certificates suitable for pre-schoolers on up to high school graduates. Each are available as PDF files that you can download to your computer and personalize before printing. Below are some hints and tips for how to use them to create colorful, fun, and memorable "awards" to present to your school-age kids!

The Mom's Break PDF Free Printables can only be opened with Adobe Reader, which is a free software. If you are unfamiliar with Adobe Reader, then please review this easy-to-understand tutorial:

You can use Mom's Break PDF Free Printable diplomas and certificates to create fun awards to give to any pre-school or school-age child. You can personalize and print one for every student!

There is no limit to how many you can print, so have fun and be creative!

This tutorial will provide some helpful instructions for downloading the PDF printables (if you are new to downloading from the web), instructions for how to use Adobe Reader to personalize the printables, and includes a special free Word document template that you can use to take advantage of all the features in Word to create a really special diploma!

Step 1.

You will first need to locate and download the diplomas and certificates from Mom's Break website.

Step 2.

You can personalize the Mom's Break PDF Free Printable before you print it!

For the "Write Your Own" PDF Free Printable, you can now create even more personalized diplomas by using Microsoft Word (or any other word-processing software) to take full advantage of all of the fonts, font sizes, font colors, and to be able to insert your own clipart or photos!

However, here are the basics:

  • Print the "Write Your Own" diploma, using Adobe Reader.
  • Mark the top and bottom, left and right margins (as shown to the left).
  • Open a blank Word document and adjust the Page Setup margin settings for the margins you just measured.
  • Save that as your "template" (so that you can re-use it as often as you wish).

Step 4.

Using the Word document template, create the text for the diploma.

As shown to the left, you can use any font, font size, or font color available in Word (or the word-processing software that you have).

You can also insert clipart or photos. Go to the tutorial shown in Step 3 for specific instructions.

Step 5.

Print a blank "Write Your Own" diploma (using Adobe Reader). Put that page back into your printer, and print the diploma.

You may need to practice with how to put the blank PDF diploma into your printer so that it prints correctly.
