You can have lots of fun
creating your own St. Patrick's Day tri-fold cards,
letterhead/announcements, or party invitations by using the free
downloadable St. Patrick's Day clipart that is available from
The Craft Cafe. Once you
have downloaded the green shamrock (shown here), you can insert it into
a Word or Paint document, and then add whatever text you desire. If you
don't know how to insert jpg files (pictures) into a document, then you
can get a fully illustrated tutorial for how to work with clipart at:
You can also get the free printable
tri-fold St. Patrick's Day card that is shown here. It prints on plain
computer paper (or card stock), and once folded will fit into a regular
business (#10) envelope (shown here in green, which I purchased at

After you make your
tri-fold St. Patrick's Day card, announcement, or party invitation, fold
it in three equal parts. Fold the bottom up toward the middle and the
top down toward the middle (accordion or letter style).
Now it will fit into a regular business
(#10) envelope.

You can follow through
and decorate the outside of the card using the same shamrock motif.
Shown here, the shamrock was printed,
trimmed, and then glued to a piece of green construction paper. Then it
was glued onto the front of the envelope.
