For this craft, you'll need:
Download the free printable Bookmark. This will open as a PDF file in a new window. Save it to your computer, and then make a note of where you've saved it. If you are using this as a group craft for a classroom, scout pack/troop, or church group, print as many as you like!

Step 1. Print the free printable bookmark on card stock (which is a heavy-weight paper that you can purchase at stores like Office Depot)---use any muted color that you prefer. Trim the bookmark. You can print the bookmark on regular computer paper, but the extra weight of the card stock will make a more long-lasting bookmark. If you are not going to laminate the bookmark, skip to Step. 7 |

Step 2. Review the directions that come with the laminate (self-sealing) film. You can purchase laminate at office supply stores (like Office Depot) and craft stores (like Michaels).

Step 3. Following the directions that come with the laminate, expose some of the "sticky" side of the film. To do this, you will probably have to peel away the "backing paper" of the laminate, as shown here. Place the bookmark onto the sticky side of the laminate. Be sure to do this carefully---once you've "stuck" it onto the film, you won't be able to get it off. |

Step 4. Since you will be laminating both sides of the bookmark, you might want to trim the laminate, as shown here. |
