Easter Egg Iron-On transfer (and other Easter Egg prints): Mom's Break Easter Egg Free Printables There are two pages that show the different Easter Egg groupings and colorations, just click on the print you like! You'll print this on iron-on transfer paper. Since the garment that I am using is a dark color, I am using Dark T-Shirt Transfers by Avery, item #3279. Be sure to read the instructions that come with the transfer paper BEFORE you begin. In this case, I did not have to "flip" (or reverse) the image before printing on the transfer paper. |

Step 1. Trim the iron on transfer so that no white border is showing (unless you prefer to include the border). As mentioned in the instructions, rounded edges work best. After you trim the transfers, you will need to remove the protective backing. Follow the instructions that come with the transfer paper. (I found this process to be a little hard using this particular Avery transfer paper. Eventually, I had to make a small slit in one corner and fold the sheet so that I could get the backing pulled away from the image. Afterward, I simply trimmed the corner to remove the slit.) |

Step 2. Following the instructions that come with the transfer paper, set the iron to the correct temperature setting, and then iron the garment to remove wrinkles. |

Step 3. Position the trimmed transfer on the garment. Note: Using the Dark T-Shirt Transfer paper by Avery, the transfer is placed on the garment, image up, with a piece of tissue paper put over it (that comes with the package of transfer papers). Other transfer papers might call for putting the transfer on the garment image side down. Be sure to read the instructions that come with your transfer paper before beginning the ironing process. |

Step 4. With the iron set to the correct temperature setting, begin to iron on the transfer. Use some pressure, and make up and down/side to side motions. Continuing ironing for as long as stated in the instructions that come with your transfer paper. |

Step 5. After the garment has cooled (it should be cool to the touch), peel away the tissue paper (or backing off other types of transfer papers). Start in a corner, and peel slowly. If the transferred image starts to peel off the garment, stop immediately and refer to the instructions that come with your transfer paper. |
