You can use half-fold
card stock, with matching envelopes, similar to the white card and
envelope shown here. You can get this card stock at office supply
stores, as well as stores like Wal-Mart and Target. Shown here is
Half-Fold Greeting Cards, made by Avery (item #3265). You'll need:
The free printables shown here are actually offered as prints for iron-on transfers. I simply printed on plain computer paper. For these free printables (and other Easter Egg prints), go to: Mom's Break Easter Egg Free Printables. There are two pages that show the different Easter Egg groupings and colorations, just click on the print you like! |

Step 1. Print the Easter free printable on regular computer paper. White is best, or any other pale color. Trim the Easter Egg print for the portion of the print that you want to use to decorate the outside of the card. |

Step 2. Use a glue stick to glue on the egg print on the front of the half-fold card blank, as shown to the left. Write a personal note inside the card. |

Step 3. You can also decorate the outside of the envelope with a leftover portion of the egg print, or simply print another one. Use the glue stick to attach picture to the envelope. These instructions are fairly simple, and provide the idea of how to use any Easter picture or printable to make your own cards, not just printables that are meant to be used on cards. Another example would be to print a free printable coloring sheet, trim to fit and glue to the card, and then have your child color it. This makes a fun card to give to Grandma! This concludes the tutorial for the half-fold Easter Card.
