Need ideas for what to put into that nicely decorated gift bag?

A mug and selections of tea, coffee, or hot cocoa make a gift that works for anyone, young or old. Shop at your local dollar store! This whole gift, including a decorated gift bag cost less than $5.00.

Here's another idea for putting together a seasonal gift bag. With finds from the dollar store, you can give a gift that looks like a million! Using a couple of artificial leaves, a brown kraft-paper bag, and some colorful curl ribbon you can make a simple mug and a package of hot cocoa mix look like a gift from a trendy store!

Have fun crafting with stamps! I decorated this pressed-board box (found at Michael's for 99 cents) with a few ink-impressions of a Christmas ornament stamp, and then tied green yarn around the box. The little gift inside takes on a whole new appearance!

This is an example of a Christmas ornament/decoration that I made using sand and some shells I collected on a local beach. The clear plastic ornament ball was purchased at Michael's for about $1. The sand and shells "cost me" a day at the beach...

I sent this to a friend who lives in the Midwest and has never seen the ocean, just so I could share a little of my world with her.
