Use the ideas shown here to make your own cards, without card-making software! Although the samples of the cards shown below are for particular holidays and occasions, use the ideas in any way that you like to create your own unique cards!

Quarter-fold cards and tri-fold cards can be made using a plain piece of computer paper (white, or any color). For quarter-fold, fold the paper in half, and then half again. For a tri-fold card, fold the paper accordion style, with two folds, to make three "panels." The tri-fold card will fit in a standard #10 (business envelope). Step 1.

Make a basic quarter-fold card out of a single piece of computer paper (8-1/2 x 11).
