This tutorial provides the instructions for how to create a Word document template so that you can use Mom's Break Free Printable Baby Stroller as computer paper stationery. Using the Word template will allow you to use all of Microsoft Word's features such as fonts, font size, font colors, and inserting clipart or your own photos. However, for your convenience, a link to the pre-made Word document template is also provided, see Step 5.

The link to Mom's Break Free Printable Baby Stroller is at the end of this tutorial, see Step 6.

Step 1.

To take full advantage of being able to change fonts, font size, and font styles available in Microsoft Word (or any other word processing software), you can easily create a "template" that allows you to type your personalization and then print it on Mom's Break PDF Baby Shower Flower Stroller. This means that you can use the Mom's Break printable just like you would use regular computer paper! (See Step 5 for the link to the Mom's Break free printable.)

This tutorial provides the essential information you need to create a Word document template for this printable. However, you can find complete instructions in the illustrated tutorial:

Step 2.

Mark the page margins that you will need so that the text will print on the Baby Shower Flower Stroller.

As you can see here, the margins are:

  • Top: 2.5 inches (2-1/2 inches)
  • Bottom: 2.5 inches (2-1/2 inches)
  • Left: 3.75 inches (3-3/4 inches)
  • Right: 1.0 inches (1 inch)

You will need these measurements to change the Page Setup settings in Word to create your template. Complete instructions in the illustrated tutorial:

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 3.
On the toolbar, click on File. If you don't see the whole drop-down menu, then click on the little arrows at the bottom of the menu.
Click on the selection marked Page Setup.
On the Margins tab, change the top/bottom and left/right margin settings to match the measurements that you made for the free printable that you want to print on. You can either highlight the setting already there and type over it, or you can use the up/down arrows to the right of each setting to adjust it.
*Note: These instructions are specifically written for Microsoft Word 2003. However, the steps will be either exactly the same or very similar for other versions of Microsoft Word or other word-processing software.
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 4.

Now you can type your personalization! You can use all of Word's features for font, font size, and font color. If you want to see the "whole page" while you are typing, then you will need to switch to "Print Layout View" (as is shown here to the left).

On the toolbar click on View, then click on Print Layout. If you don't see the whole drop-down menu when you click on View, then click on the little arrows at the bottom of the menu.

You can also insert your own pictures or any clipart that you might have. For instructions for inserting a photo into the Word doc, go to (photo insert instructions appear at the end of that tutorial:
 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Step 5.
Print the Invitations!
  • Download the Mom's Break Free Printable Baby Shower Flower Stroller.
  • Open it in Adobe Reader.
  • Print as many BLANK pages as you will need for the number of cards or invitations that you are going to need.
  • Put the BLANK Flower Stroller stationery into your printer, and print the Word doc (you may have to experiment with how to put in the pre-printed Flower Stroller pages into your printer so that it prints properly, as you see here).
  • Once you know how to put the paper into your printer, you can put all of the BLANK Flower Stroller pages into the printer and print the number of invitations you'll need.
For your convenience, you can download the pre-made Word document template for the Mom's Break Baby Shower Flower Stroller:
The template will open in a new window. It will appear to be BLANK. Save it to your computer, and then open it in Word. When you start to type, the text will be in the correct place so that it prints properly on the Baby Shower Flower Stroller.
